About Doctor Aquarium

Doctor Aquarium is an innovative aquarium automation assistant that monitors the health of your aquarium and takes actions so it will not get sick. It works with standard X10 home automation module, and can measure pH, Temperature, Light Level, Sound Level, Voltage, Resistance, and other parameters using a DAQ board. The program features email alert, and a web interface that lets you monitor you aquarium over the Internet. Unlike conventional hardware based aquarium controller, Dr Aquarium built in scripting language let's you define any control logic. The built in task wizard will help you teach the doctor how to perform tasks with out programming. Doctor Aquarium is designed from start to be open and modular, so that anyone can create and share Plugins and scripts. Using X10 technology the program can turn on light, pump, heater, power head, and can be used to simulate lunar and solar cycle, and natural water motion. An example plugin is provided with full source allowing custom DIY plugin development to interface to new hardware devices or to add new features. Doctor aquarium supports multiple aquarium, and can be used as a controller for marine salt water reef aquarium, fresh water aquarium, terrarium, vivaria, vivarium, nano, and other types of fish tank, and pet enclosure, and can be used for water quality analysis for hydroponics and aquaculture.
